A lawyer representing two former Cambodia Daily reporters was hopeful the Tbong Khmum Appeal Court would uphold a lower court decision to drop incitement charges against them after a prosecutor said there was no new evidence to reinstate the charges.
AirAsia announced on Thursday it would resume flights to Cambodia in January, but Phnom Penh’s airport operator expects arrivals in 2022 to be “far from the prepandemic level of traffic of 2019.”
A court prosecutor said that senior CNRP leaders were not being blocked from returning to the country, and that they could relinquish their foreign citizenship in order to get deported back to Cambodia.
