Six Charged, 100 Rescued in Human Trafficking Crackdown

Cambodian authorities have publicized more arrests and rescues from forced-labor compounds, mostly in Sihanoukville — though they have so far spoken little about the multimillion-dollar global scams operating within them.

Canteran Workers Take Partial Compensation but Continue Protest

Some 320 Phnom Penh workers who have been protesting and camping outside their shuttered garment factory for months have taken partial compensation as arranged by the Labor Ministry, but are keeping up their labor action saying they want the remainder paid out.
