Security authorities continued detaining NagaWorld strikers today as they attempted to return, with officials again citing Covid-19 measures.
NagaWorld union workers said they will return to the casino complex to continue their strike on Tuesday, after about 60 of them were detained on Monday and taken to a Prek Pnov facility to get tested for Covid-19 before being released just before midnight.
A group of detained NagaWorld workers said all of them had tested negative for Covid-19 after authorities surrounded them and shoved about 60 workers into buses Monday afternoon as they tried to resume their strike outside the casino complex.
