Support our work

Voice of Democracy is the only independent Cambodian newsroom built by Cambodians. VoD wasn’t established by a foreign government or outside organization. It was created by a Cambodian team, for Cambodians — and it has stayed independent ever since.

When other outlets go quiet on corruption, human rights abuses, or democracy, VoD keeps reporting. When there’s pressure to stop, VoD keeps reporting.

This is why people trust VoD. Not because we claim independence because we’ve demonstrated it, consistently, under pressure, for years.

Your support keeps that going not as charity, but as your stake in the only Cambodian-built, Cambodian-run independent newsroom that reports without permission.

What your support makes possible

VoD has always been where Cambodians bring their problems, a kind of citizen media where communities come to us with issues that no other outlet will touch, and we cover them. Your support helps us keep doing that: verified reporting on the stories others won’t broadcast, in a form diaspora families can trust and share.

It also helps us keep the sensitive reporting going: the corruption cases, the human rights documentation, the political accountability work that draws threats but matters most. Other media in Cambodia won’t touch this. VoD does, and your support is what makes that possible.

Become a monthly supporter

Monthly support is the backbone of our independence. It lets us plan, invest in verification, and keep reporting even when it’s difficult or dangerous.

Your support keeps the only Cambodian-built independent newsroom running: the reporting, the verification, the infrastructure that makes it reachable and safe.
