Ministries Embark on One-Month Surveying Blitz in Mondulkiri

Multiple government ministries will undertake a one-month satellite-aided survey of state land in Mondulkiri to register groups of inhabitants, identify illegal encroachment and resolve ongoing land-grabbing disputes, Agriculture Minister Veng Sokhon said.

Indigenous Communal Land Registrations Lagging

The registration of communal land for indigenous people has lagged — with just 24 of an estimated 455 communities receiving titles — due to inadequate funding and other challenges, NGO and government officials said.
