Crowds Pack Covid-19 Testing Centers in Phnom Penh

Since last week, 34 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in a local cluster tied to the country’s prisons director. Health authorities called on people to return for their second tests on Monday and Tuesday, but crowded testing centers had some worrying about the risk of contagion.

Two Schools Close in Wake of PM Assistant’s Preah Sihanouk Visit

Two schools have been closed in Preah Sihanouk province due to Covid-19 precautions after a prime ministerial assistant visited three coastal provinces over the weekend despite being a suspected contact of a visiting Hungarian foreign minister who tested positive after leaving the country last week.

Olympic Stadium Grounds Further Built Up With New Constructions

Another new building is rising on Olympic Stadium grounds with the government handing over a corner to the country’s electricity supplier — and joggers and others who use the public space say the historic grounds are becoming hemmed in with new constructions and increasingly unpleasant for exercise.
