Tourism Worker Support Ends Outside Siem Reap

The government will continue to support Siem Reap tourism workers as the sector continues to struggle in the temple city, a Labor Minister official said Thursday, but will suspend monthly payments for other tourism workers.

Briefs: Poipet Border Reopens, Water Plant Coming to Thirsty Borey

Travelers with vaccines and proper identification can now cross into Thailand via the Poipet International Border Gate. The Phnom Penh Water Supply Authority claimed it will have a clean drinking water plant ready by next year for residents of a Borey Piphup Thmey property whose residents say temporary water tanks are not enough to quench their thirst.

Thai National Found Dead at Poipet Casino

A 19-year-old man was found dead Thursday at tycoon Kok An’s Poipet casino that has been the subject of warnings on Thai social media as allegedly housing scam operations.
