Supreme Court Sends Indigenous Land Case for Retrial

The Supreme Court on Wednesday called for a retrial for three indigenous Bunong women who were convicted of removing fence posts on purportedly private property while trying to protect ancestral lands.

Woman Convicted of Slashing Girl Appeals 12-Year Sentence

A Phnom Penh resident who was convicted of slashing a young girl in 2020 appealed the conviction in the Supreme Court on Monday, as her lawyer questioned the torture charge against the defendant and said she had mental health issues.

Bomb-Plot Prison Sentences Appealed

A group of convicted plotters appealed their sentences on Wednesday, arguing that an electronic device portrayed during their trial as a bomb detonator was insufficient evidence that they had violent plans.
