Foreign Affairs Minister Prak Sokhonn plans to visit Myanmar in March. The Supreme Court upheld a life sentence for the bodyguard of local tycoon Thong Sarath, who has evaded prison time in relation to the 2014 murder of his business rival.

Tycoon’s Life Sentence for Murder Dropped, Leaving Bodyguard Alone in Jail, Court Told

Despite receiving life sentences, local businessman Thong Sarath and four associates had murder charges dropped by the Appeal Court in 2020, according to proceedings in the Supreme Court on Wednesday.
