Phnom Penh kicked off a third-dose vaccination drive this week with close to 100 locations across the city where residents who are fully vaccinated can go and get a shot of the Chinese-made Sinovac vaccine.
Residents wanting to get a third dose will need to produce their vaccine card and an official identification document, and can get a third dose four months after their second shot. Centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., according to official documents. A local official, however, has told VOD that vaccine recipients are also expected to bring an invitation letter signed by the commune chief, and they will be given priority over those who do not bring a letter.
The following map has the locations of currently active vaccine centers, though some points are marked as approximate due to lack of information. VOD has called local officials to clarify unclear listings where possible. Three districts will not begin vaccinations until October 30. Those districts have not yet been mapped.

Residents of Chamkarmon, Prampi Makara, Toul Kork, Dangkao, Meanchey, Russei Keo, Sen Sok, Pur Senchey, Chbar Ampov, Kambol and Boeng Keng Kang can get a third dose now, but those living in Daun Penh, Chroy Changva, Prek Pnov have to wait till October 30.
The government has fully vaccinated 11.7 million people with four different Covid-19 vaccines, and administered third doses to 981,000 people, according to Health Ministry statistics.
The booster campaign will be split between the Ministry of Health and Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, which had organized the vaccination campaign in Phnom Penh’s red zones back in April. Medical personnel from the Health Ministry will handle eight districts in the capital and the military will vaccinate residents in six districts.
The government has already given a booster shot of AstraZeneca to its officials, frontline defenders and military personnel and their families. Residents who were fully vaccinated with Sinovac or Sinopharm were supposed to get AstraZeneca but the government’s notification only offers a third shot of Sinovac.
