NagaWorld workers protested outside both casino complexes in Phnom Penh on Tuesday, with one worker saying the free passage they had been given in the past week could end when a visiting U.N. official departs Cambodia.
Protesting NagaWorld workers were able to breeze past police barriers usually set up to block them and were allowed to resume their protest outside the casino complex, as a visiting UN official observed them.

Unions are planning strikes next month in the food industry and the country’s factories in support of the long-running NagaWorld labor dispute, a unionist said on Monday even after authorities accused her and another of Cambodia’s prominent union leaders of incitement.
Unions and NGOs have asked the Prime Minister Hun Sen to intervene in the prolonged NagaWorld strike action, which has reached a stalemate with small protests occurring weekly and the Labor Ministry saying the case was out of its hands.
